Hi, my name is Holly Harper and I am an animal illustrator.
My practice focuses on the conservation and celebration of wildlife. I am a science meets art kind of illustrator, and I have a passion for all things biology. I try to include educational elements in my work whenever possible to promote the weird, wild and wonderful stories of animals.
I am also a Master of Illustration! I graduated with my masters in 2025 from the Glasgow School of Art where I developed my love of painting and generating my own reference materials from my own experiences with animals. If I am not creating artwork, I can often be found in Edinburgh Zoo or The National Museum of Scotland, camera in-hand. I predominantly work with ink and acrylics, but I am also very savvy with the Adobe Suite and work as a professional Artworker during the week.
I am lucky to have worked with a range of clients internationally, mainly Australia and Scotland, for both print and digital media.
